TELA — User Guide

TELA is your personal assistant in Telegram. You talk to it with text or voice notes. TELA listens, uses the Metraclick MCP toolbox when needed, and usually answers with a short voice reply plus an optional text detail message.

What’s new / what TELA can do

Capability What it means for you
Voice in, voice out Send a voice note; TELA transcribes it, works, and can reply with a voice note.
Metraclick tools TELA connects to the Metraclick MCP hub — email, Drive, CRM, newsletters, knowledge search, and more.
Natural requests You don’t type tool names. Say what you want in plain language.
Safe confirmations Sensitive actions (send email, send newsletter, delete) ask for Yes / No before they run.
Memory & topics TELA remembers useful facts in your chat. Start a fresh topic without wiping those facts.
Photos & files Send images, PDFs, or text-like files; TELA can analyze them and use that in the conversation.
Daily limits Speech-to-text, voice replies, and AI usage have daily budgets (/quota).

How to use TELA (basics)

  1. Open a private chat with @tela_ralph_bot.
  2. Send /start once.
  3. Message normally:
    • Text — type what you need.
    • Voice — hold the mic and speak; TELA will transcribe and act.
    • Photo / PDF / document — attach it and add a short caption like “Summarize this” or “File this under the Acme contact.”
  4. Wait a few seconds. TELA may:
    • Reply with a voice note (spoken summary), and/or
    • Send a text detail (lists, links, IDs).
  5. If you see ✅ Yes / ❌ No, read the summary and tap Yes only if you want that action to proceed.

Confirmations (Yes / No)

TELA will not silently:

When that happens, you get a confirmation card. Tap:

Drafts, updates, and most “create” steps usually run without a card so you can build content quickly, then confirm only the final send.

What TELA can work with (Metraclick tools)

Exact tools depend on what your organization enabled. Check with /tools. Below is what the Metraclick hub can expose, in everyday language.

Email

Efficient ask: “Check unread in the sales mailbox.” “Draft an email to alex@example.com about the marina meeting — don’t send yet.” “Show my drafts, then send the newest one.” *(confirm when asked)*

Google Drive

Efficient ask: “Search Drive for ‘Q2 pricing’.” “Create a Doc called ‘Client brief — Atlas’ with three bullet points from our last chat.”

HTML pages & newsletters

Efficient ask: “List newsletter templates.” “Create a simple HTML page for the spring offer and give me the preview link.” “Send a test of page to the preview receivers.” *(confirm)* “Show the latest CleverReach report.”

Knowledge & research

Efficient ask: “Search agent knowledge for how connection URLs work.” “What’s the Bitcoin price in USD with 24h change?”

Bearing CRM

Efficient ask: “Find Bearing contacts named Müller.” “Pull the latest call notes for that contact.”

Panama Brands

Efficient ask: “Search Panama comments mentioning ‘delivery delay’.” “Add a short review note on brand X.”

YachtExperience CRM

*(Deletes are restricted for normal users.)*

Efficient ask: “Search YachtExperience companies with ‘charter’ in the name.” “Add or update contact Jane Doe, email jane@example.com, at company Atlas Yachts.”

Usage examples (efficient patterns)

1. Voice workflow

  1. Voice: “Look up YachtExperience contacts at Atlas Yachts.”
  2. TELA searches and replies (voice + optional text with names/emails).
  3. Voice: “Update Jane’s phone to +34 …”
  4. TELA updates and confirms.

2. Read first, then act

“Search my email for messages from berth@marina.example about April.”
Then: “Draft a polite reply that we can berth on the 12th — save as draft only.”
Then: “Send that draft.” → tap Yes.

3. Newsletter path

“List HTML page templates.”
“Create a page from the default template titled Spring Fleet Update.”
“Update the page body with a short intro and a CTA to book a viewing.”
“List CleverReach groups.”
“Send a test of this page.” → Yes.
“Send to group *Newsletter EN*.” → Yes.

4. Drive + chat memory

“Create a Google Sheet ‘Lead follow-ups’ with columns Name, Email, Status.”
Later: “/newtopic” then “What Sheet did we create for lead follow-ups?”

*(Pinned facts may still help; if not, ask TELA to search Drive.)*

5. Attachments

Send a PDF or screenshot with caption:

“Extract the key dates and open tasks.”

Then:

“Add those tasks as a short comment on the Panama brand *Acme*.”

6. Stay within quota

/quota

If speech is nearly used up, prefer text until the next day.

Good habits

  1. Be specific — names, dates, mailbox (“sales”), company, page id when you have them.
  2. One outcome per message when doing risky work (sends/deletes).
  3. Use /newtopic when you change subject so old context doesn’t confuse the next task.
  4. Use /tools if something seems missing — your tenant may not have that tool enabled.
  5. Never paste passwords into the chat; TELA uses connected systems securely via MCP.
